Our Client is one of the largest and leading sub-contracting organisations within the U.K and Ireland.
As a result of internal re-organisation our client are seeking to recruit an experienced Production Manager.
Reporting to the Senior Production Manager you will have the responsibility for the Fabrication and Welding Departments. You will ensure customer service, quality, health and safety and operational costs are met within your departments.
In line with these requirements you will also have a requirement to undertake and implement continuous improvement processes throughout your department.
A full understanding of financial and operating cost management is essential with the view to implementing cost reduction programs.
Applicants should have a minimum of 2-3 years experience within a fabrication and welding process. You must be able to demonstrate effective leadership qualities incorporating decision making and motivating skills.
A qualification gained within a Supervisory Management Discipline is essential.
Experience within Lean Manufacturing would be desirable.
Salary will be dependant upon experience.
